The tour begins in the heart of the city and brings us to the most fantastic viewing point of the city, the viewpoint of São Pedro de Alcantara which offers a fantastic view from the Baixa to the river.
We will explore the old and picturesque Bairro Alto where we will walk through its narrow streets and secular buildings. It is now one of the main attractions in Lisbon's nightlife due to the bars, restaurants and fado houses.
Following is the popular square of Camões and after we will continue to the elegant and emblematic Chiado where we will find the most famous cafes and most beautiful shops of Lisbon. We will get to know the ruins of the Carmo convent, destroyed in the big earthquake of 1755.
We will explore in the heart of the city the sites that were rebuilt after the earthquake and you will be able to taste the typical pastel de nata, one of the ex-libris of the Portuguese sweets. We will continue the tour in the famous yellow Tram, a popular means of transport in Lisbon since 1901, and we will walk through the oldest parts of the city to the Sé, an imposing monument whose construction began in the 12th century, after the taking of the city from the Moors by the King Afonso Henriques.
