The Sintra National Palace -This palace is located in the center of Sintra, for that reason it is called the Town Palace. Its most notable external feature is the two massive chimneys that protrude from the kitchens and that became Sintra's icon. Inside, can be visited wonderful ostentatiously decorated rooms. It is the best preserved medieval royal palace in Portugal and it is the Portuguese nobility's favorite, being a highly recommended attraction when visiting Sintra.
